Emirates has flown to Perth International Airport for 23 years. Influenced by the Western Australian Government’s Aviation Recovery Fund, frequencies returned to twice-daily in December 2024. However, the latest plan sees the return of a daily service in the upcoming northern winter (summer Down Under). This change will reduce Emirates’ competitiveness and market share in Perth, but it will improve its overall performance.
