How Cirrus Is Changing The Preflight Experience With AR

Cirrus recently revealed its newest feature to help train student pilots on Cirrus aircraft, the Cirrus Approach. This application allows student pilots and existing pilots, who are working to gain experience on Cirrus aircraft, the ability to utilize augmented reality (AR) to familiarize themselves with Cirrus aircraft. The Cirrus Approach gives student pilots the ability to bring up preflight checklists and other procedures on their iPad or tablet to train from almost anywhere. Let’s take a closer look at the Cirrus Approach, which was on display at this year’s annual National Business Aviation Administration (NBAA) Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (BACE) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
