Boeing’s Machinist Strike Forces Spirit AeroSystems To Announce Furloughs & Hint Imminent Layoffs

Due to the ongoing machinist strike at Boeing, Spirit AeroSystems has proposed laying off up to 700 workers for 21 days. Spirit has been able to build up considerable stock during the last six weeks of the strike and is now considering furloughs until Boeing can come to an agreement with its striking workers.
