There are five passenger-configured Boeing 777 variants: the 200, 200ER, 200LR, 300, and 300ER. Analyzing Cirium schedules data indicates 57,600 777-operated scheduled flights in October. While it varies wildly by variant and airline, the average stage length is 2,980 nautical miles (5,519 km). Unsurprisingly, that is in long-haul territory. If not for the non-ER variants, the 200 and 300, whose average is 15-20% lower, it’d be even higher.
