The USAF’s New B-52 Throwback Livery: Looking Back At The Historic Bomber’s Development Program

As they say, “Everything old is new again.” That includes the venerable 70-year-old warbird Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, AKA the “BUFF” (Big Ugly Fat Fellow). Concurrent with the much-ballyhooed upgrades to the upcoming B-52J, at least one specimen of the current B-52H variant is going retro with an old-school paint scheme and livery.
