On Tuesday, October 8th, Textron Aviation announced that it was heading back to the negotiating table with executives from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 70, Local Lodge 774. These negotiations are set to continue on Thursday, October 10th. The need for a contract negotiation is urgent for Textron Aviation, as union members of the District 70, Local Lodge 774 have been engaged in a strike since the end of September after previously rejecting Textron Aviation’s most recent proposed contract.
