Which Airlines Currently Offer Direct One-Stop Flights Between Europe & Australia?

Decades ago, flying between Europe and Australia meant multi-stop itineraries that took dozens of hours, even days, to complete. For example, in 1947 when Qantas was operating its famous Kangaroo Route connecting Australia with the United Kingdom, the airline flew from Sydney to London with seven stops with a Lockheed Constellation – this included stops in Darwin, Australia, Singapore, Calcutta (Kolkata), India, Karachi, Pakistan, Cairo, Egypt, Tripoli, Libya, and Rome, Italy.
