The energy major is abandoning its ambitious plans for hydrogen in the latest blow to the Albanese government’s dreams for the energy source to help drive the transition to net zero.
Chris Bowen can only see this as a major blow to the governments energy policy. Hydrogen energy was seen by Minister Bowen as a panacea for renewable energy targets but the experience now here and in some overseas locations tells a very different story.
