Congress has denied a request by the United States Air Force (USAF) for an additional Boeing C-40 transport to carry high-ranking government officials. The Air Force is looking to bolster its “Top Five” VIP fleet, which serves the Vice President, First Spouse, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
