US Army Black Hawk Vs Snowmobile: Judge Grants Injured Man $3 Million For Helicopter Mishap

A snowmobile driver who crashed into a parked US Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter has been awarded over $3 million in damages. Jeffrey Smith continues to suffer from a collapsed lung, nerve paralysis, and loss of sensation in one hand after the accident. While the ruling was in his favor, the judge criticized Smith for driving at high speeds and wearing tinted goggles.
