With the Singapore Airshow now getting down to business, RTX company Pratt & Whitney has released two significant announcements that will be music to the ears of every one of its geared turbofan (GTF) engine operators. On Monday, Pratt & Whitney officially opened a massive expansion of its Singapore engine services center and also announced a $20 million investment to grow manufacturing capacity in Singapore for GTF engine high-pressure turbine disks.
