Lockheed Martin Signs Deal With Tata Group To Produce C-130J In India

India and the US have entered a “teaming agreement” to expand the production and maintenance of C-130J Super Hercules tactical airlifters in India. After designing and producing weapons systems indigenously, the second-best option for India is to produce them locally under license to increase self-sufficiency.
