In recent months, staff at San Francisco International Airport have started recording the number of passengers seen at the airport because of confusion caused by Oakland Airport changing its name earlier this year. The change in the name of Oakland Airport has even resulted in San Francisco City’s attorney filing a trademark infringement lawsuit against the city of Oakland.
