The United States Department of Transportation has announced that carriers in the country, despite facing record passenger numbers this Summer but also facing significant disruptions during this period, have recorded a very low flight cancellation rate when compared to previous years. With the end of the Summer travel season coming up, airlines across the US are hoping to maintain smooth operations as much as possible.
