On 13 February 2024, thousands of flight attendants across three different labor unions organized a major strike, with Alaska Airlines being the primary target of interest. The thousands of employees, who are seeking more favorable labor agreements from Alaska, among other airlines, gathered outside thirty different airports in the United States and Canada to protest.
