The US Air Force recognizes that the quality of life for its airmen and their families is foundational. On August 13, Alex Wagner, the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Chief Master Sgt. of the Space Force John Bentivegna, and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force David Flosi met and hosted a fireside chat about increasing the wellbeing of Airmen and Guardians in the two services. Quality of life is always fundamental for any organization its ability to recruit, retain, and function effectively. That is one reason why Congress is requiring the Air Force to do things like finding ways to make the B-52 bomber more comfortable.
