In 2021, an Atlanta-based US Citizen was stopped at Atlanta airport by US Drug Enforcement Administration agents and had $8,500 in cash wrongfully seized. While the passenger did receive his money back after arguing in court for years, he is now back in court to try and get the responsible parties to pay for his legal fees, which amounts to double the money that was seized.
