Australia will join the United States’ Global Entry Program

The federal government has announced Australia will join the United States’ Global Entry program from January 2025, meaning travellers can avoid queues at American airports.

Eligible visitors will also get access to the Transportation Security Administration Pre-Check program, which allows fast-tracked screening processes for domestic flights.

The program will initially be available to a limited number of Aussies that travel most frequently to the US, before the government looks at expanding eligibility.
