New South Wales (NSW) Police dropped inquiries into multiple Islamic clerics in Sydney after determining their sermons did not meet the threshold for a criminal offence.
It has reappeared amid mourning for the December 14 Bondi Beach attack, where ISIS-inspired gunmen killed six at a Hanukkah event using the same chant before being stopped.
The incident began just before 7pm local time, with eyewitnesses describing dozens of shots.
