Nokia announced on Thursday that Telekom Malaysia (TM) will use its Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) solution to build a dedicated terrestrial optical network to better manage growing data traffic and improve data center connectivity.
The project’s contract is divided into four distinct sections, each addressing a specific segment of the rail line with investments varying based on local requirements.
The in-country facility, situated within the city’s airport precinct, will be one of only two in the world capable of producing Naval Strike Missiles (NSM) and Joint Strike Missiles (JSM).
