Virgin Atlantic Will Not Be Returning To Tel Aviv

Virgin Atlantic emphasized that its customers can travel on its codeshare partner’s EL AL’s flights between London-Heathrow and Tel Aviv.

British Airways will operate the flights with the Airbus A321neo, switching the traditionally twin-aisle route to a single-aisle aircraft.

United Airlines said the decision was made following a detailed assessment and close work with its unions.

EASA cited ceasefire agreements and lower tensions in the region not to renew the air safety bulletins for Israel and Iran.

However, while Delta Air Lines confirmed the development, United Airlines reiterated that its flights to Tel Aviv remain suspended.

In the past 24 hours, Wizz Air alone has resumed flights to 13 destinations from Tel Aviv, Israel.

It’s unclear how long the Israeli carrier plans on maintaining the route suspension.

The terminal will close to all international flights until March 2025.

Delta Air Lines will continue monitoring the security situation in the region.
