Seattle-Tacoma’s Recent International Appeal

The airport is becoming an increasingly popular port of entry for international routes.

The California airport has a small but growing route network across North America.

However, the destinations were outlined to showcase potentially shorter flight times from Seattle than from Los Angeles or San Francisco.

The animals have been used for meet-and-greet style appearances.

Brand new Alaska Lounges will open in San Diego and Honolulu, followed by a “Flagship” lounge in C Concourse of Seattle-Tacoma in 2027.

It becomes Hawaiian’s shortest twin-aisle route and the first time the route has seen widebodies since the 1990s.

Flights using frequent flyer miles to destinations in Armenia, Austria, Kazakhstan, and Switzerland are up to half off.

The group will reposition Airbus A330 widebodies from the Hawaiian Airlines fleet to Seattle for the new flights next year.

Alaska Airlines Group expects $500 million of revenue and cost benefits from the merger by 2027.
