VH-OQH (pictured in Sydney last year) blew out three of its 22 tyres after it was forced to return to Changi Airport due to technical issues shortly after take-off of flight QF1 to London on 7 July.
On-time arrivals were still the second-worst of every major region, above only North America at 74 per cent and well below the global average of 86 per cent.
The company recently announced an increase in the number of military components in support of the Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy aircraft.
Approximately 140 aircraft and more than 4,000 personnel from 20 nations are participating in this year’s iteration of Exercise Pitch Black from 12 July to 2 August. The event is celebrating the largest participation in its 43-year history.
