Network Rail and its principal contractor Story have started a 6-month project to refurbish a 140-year-old railway bridge over Salkeld Street in Glasgow.
Avanti West Coast and Network Rail have revealed plans and to create a new ticket office and first-class lounge at Glasgow Central station this autumn.
Network Rail has announced that work for the next stage of its £140m East Kilbride enhancement project will be carried out during the last weekend of September.
