Step-Free access temporarily removed at North Yorkshire railway station

Whilst Transpennine Route Upgrades go underway, the ramped entrances at Deighton station will be closed.

To allow for Transpennine Route Upgrades (TRU) to be carried out, services will be impacted.

Across the May bank holiday, most of Northern’s train services will be running as normal.

In common with other train operators, from Sunday, 18th May 2025, Northern will introduce a new timetable for its train services.

Huddersfield station will be closed for 30 days later this year so that engineers can carry out work on the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU).

To brighten up customers’ journeys, from Monday, 14th to Thursday, 17th April, TransPennine Express is giving away Easter Eggs across its network.
