Residents of a small town outside Melbourne’s western edge are opposing plans by freighting giant Pacific National to build a terminal on 550 hectares of grassland.
For reasons unknown the government and V/Line have refused to return services for the travelling public despite requests from the Ballarat and Geelong regional councils.
“There’s been a lot of scaffolding and a lot of construction going on,” Mr Lockwood said.
