The federal government will allocate $2 billion in funding to create a new rail hub at Sunshine, with new platforms and tracks which would play a key role in the proposed Melbourne Airport rail link.
It was very crowded people coming from work and from Australian Open etc. All train movement were halted Wendouree ,Wyndham Vale etc was impacted and coach transfers and Ararat Service was delayed.
This is of concern to many as the last time the station was rebuilt for a considerable sum of money no standard gauge platform was included which was a MAJOR oversight.
