Tom Elliott has weighed in on the assassination attempt of former US President Donald Trump, who was shot in the ear at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania yesterday.
The 3AW Mornings host said the photo of Trump raising his fist after the shooting will be an “enduring image of American politics”.
“I think this almost guarantees Donald Trump victory in the upcoming US Presidential election,” he said.
