On Monday, July 8th, a United Airlines Boeing 757-200 took off just after 07:15 and lost a tire upon departure. The 757, however, did not return to LAX but instead went ahead with its flight to Denver. Upon reaching its destination, the aircraft landed safely after a flight of one hour and 55 minutes. There were no injuries to the passengers onboard or anyone on the ground.
