Melbourne Airport’s international arrivals hall has been labelled an ‘unmitigated disaster’ and a turn off for incoming international tourists.

As the school holidays arrive and passenger numbers at airports increase, a key part of Melbourne’s international terminal has to improve according to Shane McInnes.

“The international arrivals hall is an unmitigated disaster if you arrive early in the morning when so many flights arrive from all corners of the world at the same time,” Shane said on 3AW Drive.

  1. Came through there over Easter and what a shambles. It is a dated 1970’s look and feel. Needs a lot of work and really this should have been fixed years ago.

    No guessing why Sydney is the peak airport in Australia.
