The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has warned that there might be potential gaps in the fuselage of certain Airbus A380 aircraft, which could reduce the structural integrity of the fuselage. The regulator issued its final-rule airworthiness directive (AD) on January 31, 2024, which includes instructions for operators on how to address the potentially unsafe condition.
