Delta Asks DOT For More Time To Respond To Aeromexico Ruling

On January 30th, 2024, Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico filed a motion to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for an extension to the antitrust immunity provisions that allow the two carriers' interline agreement. As reported by Simple Flying, the DOT had initially rejected the two airlines' application to renew their Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) on January 26th.
