Foxconn to manufacture Nokia’s 5G AirScale products in Vietnam

Ericsson says it has marked a major step forward in its India-based operations with the release of its first antenna model manufactured in India for global export.

­Swedish vendor Ericsson announced the appointment of Patrick Johansson as Head of Market Area Middle East and Africa, replacing Fadi Pharaon who announced his departure in May.

Nokia reported a 32% plunge in operating profit in Q2 blaming low demand for 5G telecoms equipment.
