Huawei to upgrade Telecel Ghana’s network in $70m deal

At Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2024, James Chen, President, Carrier Business at Huawei, gave a keynote speech entitled “Secondary 5G Innovation: Charting a New Course for Business Success”.

Research from Finnish vendor Nokia predicts that one in four mobile subscriptions in the Middle East and Africa will be connected via 5G within the next five years.
