Whilst they sound very similar, non-stop and direct flights are not the same. As the name suggests, non-stop will fly between two cities without well stopping.Direct flights, on the other hand, might actually stop, en route to your destination. This concept dates back to a time when stops on flights were much more common than they are today. But the terminology remains the same, and is often confused.
