Lokaltog selects Stadler RS ZERO for Nærum Line battery fleet

Danish regional operator Lokaltog has selected Stadler Deutschland to supply four battery trains for the 7.8-kilometre Nærum Line north of Copenhagen. Furrer+Frey will provide the associated charging infrastructure.

Renfe has introduced the first Stadler high-capacity trains into passenger service on Madrid Cercanías line C-7, while a separate deployment of Alstom S452 units is planned for Málaga from 2028.
