UAE opens new passenger rail station

Less than a week after celebrating the launch of its Talgo S6 trainsets on routes to Bratislava and Prešov, Leo Express has been forced to scale back operations due to technical failures and a shortage of available units.

BDŽ has introduced the first two Alstom Coradia Stream electric multiple units into regular passenger operation, beginning deployment of a 35-train fleet ordered for Bulgaria.

The trains entered service on 6 July 2026 after testing and approval work for the new fleet.
