The first train in the new configuration was delivered on 17 September. DSB’s Talgo 230 sets have been operating between Copenhagen and Hamburg since November 2025.
SBB will launch procurement for a new digital traffic management system from 2027. Until its phased introduction begins in the 2030s, Siemens will continue supporting the existing Iltis platform.
