Official: Nashville Airport Authority Majority Votes In Favor Of Renaming After Dolly Parton

Nashville International Airport (BNA) has taken its first formal step toward being renamed in honor of Dolly Parton. On September 11th, the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) Board voted unanimously, 6-0, to begin the process of modifying the airport’s name to recognize the Tennessee-born country music legend, who died on August 25 at the age of 80.
