Two Vietnamese carriers have signed agreements with European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, which will see five A350-900s destined for Vietnam Airlines, while additional A220 and A321neos make their way to Vietravel Airlines. Deliveries for these new aircraft are expected in 2033 and 2034, signalling a long backlog for aircraft from Airbus.
