SBB Cargo reaches break-even as reintegration to SBB moves ahead

SBB’s freight business returned to break-even in the first half of 2026, while the Swiss railway confirmed that SBB Cargo will be financially reintegrated into the parent company from January 2027. Freight earnings improved by CHF 49 million year on year to CHF 2 million.
