Codognotto adds Spain-Belgium intermodal route

GB Railfreight has operated the first commercial Class 99 service, running 99001 on an intermodal train from DP World London Gateway to Maritime Transport’s Hams Hall terminal.

The integrated schedule utilizes the Lyon PEH hub to link Mediterranean ports with the North Sea-Baltic corridor via 18 weekly round trips.

The approval allows the Polish rail freight operator to run services in Germany independently, reducing reliance on intermediary carriers.
