At least one passenger has died after a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 hit severe turbulence. The aircraft, flying from London to Singapore as SQ321, diverted to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), squeaked 7700, the code for a general emergency. According to a report from the BBC, further passengers were injured by the occurrence.
