It is hard to imagine that five years have passed since Breeze AIrways’ first commercial service. Between the airline’s initial flight in 2021 and April 2026, the US Department of Transportation shows that more than 17 million passengers have been carried.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has certified a new A350-900 engine variant. The aircraft type, which exclusively uses the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84, now has an Enhanced Performance (EP) variant. Airbus states that this Enhanced Performance capability is set to deliver one percent lower fuel consumption, which will provide airlines with a reduction in operating costs and emissions.
