Astronomers studying the Moon claim to have captured what they believe could be evidence of technologically advanced non-human activities (UFO’s) on and around the Moon

A team of researchers from Ukraine’s Main Astronomical Observatory reported observing more than 20 unidentified objects moving near and across the Moon during several observation sessions in 2025. Using a high-speed camera mounted on a telescope in Vinarivka, a village in Ukraine’s Kyiv region, the team recorded images at 20 frames per second, enabling them to detect extremely fast-moving objects that would have been nearly impossible to observe with conventional astronomical equipment.
The researchers classified the unidentified objects into two broad categories: “atmospheric” and “continental.”

The atmospheric objects appeared as brief flashes lasting only fractions of a second. The continental objects, by contrast, were described as disc-shaped, with estimated diameters ranging from approximately 25 to 40 kilometers. According to the study, these objects displayed fluctuations in brightness while appearing to race across the lunar surface.

The team also reported observing toroidal (ring-shaped) objects measuring about 36 kilometers in diameter and traveling at speeds of up to 11 kilometers per second. Their analysis suggests these objects rotated with a period of roughly 180 seconds, generating a calculated centrifugal acceleration approximately twice Earth’s gravitational acceleration.
The largest group of more than 20 unidentified objects was recorded during two observation sessions on September 7, 2025, beginning at 7:05 p.m. and 7:27 p.m. ET. Additional ring-shaped objects were reportedly observed during a separate session on August 16, 2025, at 2:52 a.m. ET.
In one notable observation, two objects believed to be separated by hundreds of miles appeared to flash simultaneously. The researchers considered this synchronization to be statistically significant, although they emphasized that it does not demonstrate communication or intelligent control.
Based on their observations, the authors proposed that the objects may exhibit structured or technological behavior. They further speculated that the Moon could serve as a base for these unidentified objects and suggested they might be capable of traveling from the Moon to Earth in approximately 20 minutes, where they could appear in Earth’s atmosphere as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).
Ultimately, the researchers proposed that the observed objects could represent the activity of a technologically advanced non-human civilization.
These reported UFO sightings near the Moon by professional astronomers, and the suggestion that the objects may be linked to a lunar base, stand in direct contrast to NASA’s longstanding position (cover-up) that there is no evidence of UFOs on or near the Moon and that no lunar base exists.
