CEFSA expands electric fleet with EURO6000 locomotive

The route is Sweden’s only regular train ferry connection and provides a rail link between Sweden and Germany outside the Öresund fixed connection.

The working visit was intended to improve coordination with regional and Chinese partners on international freight movements, as ASEAN–China rail freight volumes depend on multiple national networks and interfaces rather than a single operator.

The service began in mid-June 2026 and will initially operate with two arrivals and two departures per week.
