Australian company CubePilot, which supplies hardware and embedded software for the civilian unmanned systems industry, has warned its customers that some of its systems are offline while it investigates a “security incident”.
Launched in February, the POLAIR Remote program has seen two drones, operated from Bankstown Airport, participate in aerial surveillance in an effort to improve police response times. This is the first time Australian police have used drones in this way.
Civil works and new roads are now finished for the new Milton Precinct, which the airport estimates will provide $134.1 million to the local economy in the first 10 years, and $42.5 million in output from new businesses per year.
