Stadler’s EURO6000 electric locomotive has been approved for operation in Belgium, extending its authorised network along the North Sea–Mediterranean freight corridor.
Alstom will deploy ERTMS Level 2 and upgrade electrification on a 44-kilometre section of Romania’s Craiova–Caransebeș railway. The project will raise speeds for both passenger and freight trains.
The project covers the development and construction of a hydrogen passenger multiple unit demonstrator with additional power supply from the overhead contact line.
