American plane maker Boeing is celebrating its strongest first half of the year, with a total of 314 recorded deliveries, its highest since before the pandemic (2018). Boeing’s strong results continue to reflect the recovery of the 737 MAX, with a total of 243 of the type delivered, along with the 787, 767, and 777.

US legacy carrier Delta Air Lines has agreed to pay $330 million to acquire a 15% stake in Canadian airline WestJet. This marks the latest development in the SkyTeam member’s ongoing partnership with the airline, which dates back more than 14 years to the start of 2011. Delta hopes that its stake in WestJet will benefit both airlines and their customers in various markets.
