Boeing appears to have updated the publicly available range figures for its forthcoming series of 777X widebody twinjets. Indeed, the figures for both the 777-8 and 777-9 models are now more than 700 NM (1 NM = 1.85 km) higher than those that had previously been listed by the planemaker. The figures for the smaller 777-8 model, in particular, see Boeing narrow the gap to the Airbus A350-1000ULR.
